Black Questimity - An Updated List of Properties (And Our Reflections on the Topic and Related Matters)

If Qi essentially represents a set of measures that allow an individual to maintain distance from other members of THEIR OWN society, then Qe focuses on how to increase personal distance from members of OTHER communities - especially those communities whose resource provision is worse, and contact with whom therefore cannot, in principle, bring anything good (whereas something bad, in the form of poisoning from low-quality products or infection with diseases typical of the poor - quite easily can).

Despite the fact that Qi is more individualistic than Qe, it is the latter, not the former, that works to strengthen individual selection in the population. How does this happen, and what does Qi work toward instead?

The point is that where Qi demands equality, equality is not enough for Qe, which needs to feel its own superiority. Yes, Qi is no less narcissistic than Qe, but while considering himself special, the white questim is not prepared to use the surrounding society in order to advance; on the contrary, as a democrat and a static type, he wants to depend on it as little as possible - so that no one has the opportunity to suppress his individuality. After all, the basis of Qi is introverted, and therefore energy-conserving and defensive in relation to the surrounding world. Whereas for the black questim, the mere moral satisfaction of feeling independent is not enough. As a dynamic type, he deliberately seeks a more pleasant life, and as an aristocrat - he is prepared for unequal relations with those around him. If, in addition, Qe occupies the program position and is extraverted, then such an individual is prepared to make considerable efforts to distinguish himself from the crowd and obtain the right to better resource provision. Thus, unlike Qi, Qe actively integrates into the existing society and uses it for more effective self-preservation and success.

Of all the functions, it is Qe that is more strongly associated than the others with maintaining the organism’s homeostasis - as a biological body, and, in an expanded form - one’s personal household. This includes avoiding dangers, paying close attention to one’s health, and choosing only the most reliable and well-established suppliers of essential resources. With any frustration of basic needs, even a minor one, Qe provokes a strong reaction of irritation, which then, depending on the individual’s vertness, may manifest either as reactive aggression (anger) or as lingering resentment. This also includes an extremely strong sense of disgust and revulsion toward everything that appears suspicious and potentially dangerous. All of this protects the individual from contact with anything that, for whatever reason, his organism does not like, and therefore reduces the chances of being infected, poisoned, or otherwise injured.

But how can that be - someone will surely ask here - homeostasis is a function of Si, is it not, did the author himself not once write about this?

Both yes and no. Si indeed, like Qe, works toward finding “warm places” favourable to survival and self-preservation.

But there is one important nuance here. While Si seeks to establish a state of equilibrium in the surrounding environment, Qe is concerned only with the equilibrium state of its own organism, only with self-preservation, and nothing more.

Qe and Si may go hand in hand - in that case, this usually refers to prosperous, prudent householders who avoid any actions capable of destabilising the surrounding supporting environment and thereby harming their own household.

But Qe may also be combined with weak Si - in that case, the subject cares little about equilibrium and fairness in the exchange of resources with the surrounding environment; on the contrary, there is a clear desire to live at the expense of the supporting environment, skimming off the cream from it while offering only deceptive promises in return, which ultimately provokes the emergence and expansion of a crisis.

Conversely, the combination of weak Qe with strong Si produces a desire to process all kinds of other people’s junk and filth, even if this requires living among it all oneself and risking one’s health - as long as society as a whole is prevented from becoming cluttered and sliding into crisis.

Finally, the most desperate people are, naturally, those who are weak in both Qe and Si. They feel perfectly comfortable in an environment already disrupted by crisis, and moreover, they directly need crisis, seek it out, and head toward such places in order to personally sort through the resources released by someone else’s bankruptcy.
