In our opinion, the results obtained for the marker properties of Ni, among all the functions, most deserve brief commentary. As can be seen from Table 7.1, the ability to integrate and compare different points in time, the ability to sense or foresee the near future (especially when it involves anticipating trouble), and a good sense of physical time (as if an internal clock is present) - all these potentials are indeed most strongly and positively linked to Ni compared to other functions. However, firstly, a number of these properties (for example, an interest in the future and the ability to compare and integrate different time points within cognitive activity) are more likely to be the result of a deficiency of Si than the presence of a developed Ni. Additionally, interest in the future is equally or even more closely associated with strong Te, and not just with strong Ni. Secondly (and most importantly), it is not the above-listed time-related abilities that are the most characteristic of Ni. The truly marker traits for it appear to be the following:

Let us briefly note that all the listed marker traits (together with the abilities to operate with time) are usually considered in neurophysiology as manifestations of enhanced function in the right-hemispheric anterior (including frontal) cortical regions, against a background of functional weakening of the symmetrically located left-hemispheric regions.
