Base and Creative Qe
Base Qe
In theory, it is characteristic of EIE and LSE. It combines the properties of questimity, aristocratism, negativism (inert questimity), process, and a linear-assertive temperament.
“Being elite is my calling”
For individuals with this function, due to their questim-dynamic sensitivity to the quality of resources they consume, and the extroverted-aristocratic desire for social recognition, makes the feeling of belonging to an elite, top-tier social class a core value.
Depending on their personal preferences and the balance of other traits, people with this function often have desires such as: wearing exclusive clothing, shopping for food only at the best stores, living in the best neighborhoods, attending glamorous clubs, ensuring their children attend elite schools, or having their creative work recognized as the epitome of good taste and highly valued. They feel insulted if anyone tries to equate them with the masses, “commoners”, “non-professionals”, or “riff-raff” - for instance, if they are forced to stand in line with everyone else when alternatives exist, or if someone implies mediocrity in their work.
They are highly intolerant of any discomfort and are quick to express this irritation at the first opportunity. They are extremely sensitive to any potential harm to themselves or their health. They pick up on any signs of aggression directed at them, and their response is often disproportionately strong, effectively rallying those around them to join in confronting their perceived aggressors.
It’s also worth noting that base Qe is more commonly found in women, due to its correlation with the histrionic personality type. The stereotypical image of a socialite - a woman who always wants to look perfect in everything, who is fastidiously arrogant and demanding of others, and who often creates scandals out of nothing - includes not only, and not so much, strong Se, but also questimity in its aristocratic form. In men, strong Qe is even more often paired with enhanced Se, and in this combination, it transforms into brashness and lack of restraint in speech, against a backdrop of high personal ambition (in general, when paired with Se, Qe often acts as a catalyst for aggressive outbursts. People with strong Se but weak Qe are no less egocentric, but are calmer and more balanced, and for that reason are less likely to commit extraordinary, “wild” acts in fits of rage or jealousy). Thus, a common role of program Qe is as a catalyst for processes of social stratification. Such individuals often strive to rise to positions of leadership, become “stars”, and in doing so, draw others along with them, setting social mobility in motion.

Creative Qe
In theory, it is characteristic of IEI and SLI. It combines the properties of questimity, aristocratism, positivism (contact questimity), result, and a receptive-adaptive temperament.
Like base Qe, it seeks a privileged position. However, its goal is not to rise up and dictate to others, but rather to escape unnecessary activity and the harsh struggle for survival at the lower levels of society. It aspires to a lofty, serene existence where one always has access to key resources without much effort, and without having to think about anything extraneous (or potentially distressing).
This type fits well into roles such as treasurer, court poet, gardener in a noble’s estate, master craftsman of unique interior items, or a stylist for celebrities. For creative Qe, there’s a special sensitivity to the quality of the products they create, with an ideal goal of elite craftsmanship, due to which a person hopes to maintain his relevance for patrons and buyers of his work.
And yes, “the bliss of ignorance”, a certain “enlightenment”, even to the point of naivety like “if they have no bread, let them eat cake!”—this is all about creative Qe. Once self-actualized and having reached their life goal, they prefer to do nothing except what they love and excel at, leaving all life’s problems for others to solve, while avoiding thinking about anything unpleasant.
