Study of the Relationship Between Achievement Test Results and the Socionic Personality Profile

Let us recall that this study conducted in 2018 by V. Talanov showed that the difference, stable for a given individual, between their success in completing the Amthauer test (an intelligence score with an emphasis on logic) and their success in completing the RMET test (purely emotional intelligence) is almost 100 percent determined by the subject’s typological socionic profile. If considered separately, the IQ score according to Amthauer is determined by the socionic profile by approximately 50% (the remaining influence consists of a person’s general intelligence not related to socionics, not associated with their logical–ethical or intuitive–sensory preferences, as well as their life experience and a large number of additional random, situational factors). The result of the RMET test (on recognizing emotional states from photographs of people’s eyes) is determined by the socionic profile by 40% (the remainder, as in the case of the Amthauer test, being life experience and random, situational factors). An even higher correlation was found between socionic indicators and the difference between an individual’s results on tests of general (with a predominant contribution of logical) intelligence and emotional intelligence (that is, the difference between the normalized results of the Amthauer and RMET tests). It turned out that this difference is already predicted by the socionic personality profile almost 100%. Why is this so, why not the previous 50%? Because the difference between the indicators removes from the result the influence of most noise-like situational factors related both to the individual’s diligence in taking both tests and to their life experience.
