{Irrationality-Rationality} * {Judiciousness-Decisiveness}

DECISIVE RATIONALITY -

the tense defense of one’s long-term goals, replete with prohibitions and troubles, in a hostile world

DECISIVE IRRATIONALITY -

the chaos and unpredictability of evil, a struggle of all against all

JUDICIOUS IRRATIONALITY -

good nature, relaxation, a carefree existence

JUDICIOUS RATIONALITY -

predictability and fidelity, productive labor for the common good

{Irrationality-Rationality} * {Merry-Serious}

MERRY (“ascending”) RATIONALITY -

fundamental, perfect ideas and forms that elicit the broadest response and direct the existence of the masses

MERRY (“ascending”) IRRATIONALITY -

the beauty, immoral and offering no immediate benefit, of laying bare the fundamental meanings of existence

SERIOUS (“descending”) RATIONALITY -

the familiar world in the traditions of its business and close familial bonds

SERIOUS (“descending”) IRRATIONALITY -

ridiculous and shameful trifles concealed amid the bustle of everyday life

{Irrationality-Rationality} * {Intuition-Sensorics}

RATIONAL SENSORICS - everyday life, objects, the product of human hands. As a result of the purposeful processing and cultivation of the surrounding environment, the material world here acquires greater diversity in comparison with the world of “natural” irrational sensorics.

Rational sensorics is related to irrational intuition by the fact that both have the property of delving into details, to the point of completely losing an understanding of the whole behind a multitude of small fragments and plot convolutions (the pole of tactics).

IRRATIONAL INTUITION - fantasy, images of “wild”, wholly unconstrained imagination - the product of program intuitive functions. In the case of Ne (images 1,4,9), the imagination is static - a multitude of fragments unconnected with one another, as a manifestation of a “flight of ideas”; moreover, the external world is perceived as rather safe and as encouraging exploratory activity (judiciousness). In the case of Ni (more so in 3,5,6), frozen metamorphoses are observed, often with a threatening subtext (decisiveness). Unfortunately, the format of static illustrations does not permit this to be conveyed fully; Ni manifests itself far more clearly in music videos, with their dynamics unfolding over time).

RATIONAL INTUITION - spirit, symbols, ideas. Products of imagination, disordered, diverse, and polysemous in their original form, are simplified by the creative form of intuition in accordance with the requirements of the leading rational function - making them comprehensible and accessible to other social counterparties. Numbers, the alphabet, money, flags (the symbolism of states), and religious and humanistic-secular symbolism are, in essence, originally manifestations of the rational intuitive function, although subsequently, as they are used by society and embodied in concrete objects, they may all become overgrown with a multitude of sensory, tactical details.

Rational intuition is united with irrational sensorics by the pole of strategy - the striving to discard nonessential details, simplify, and reduce the entire diversity of manifestations of the surrounding existence to a single simple and integral image that captures the subject’s attention and subsequently directs all of the subject’s basic strivings.

IRRATIONAL SENSORICS - flesh, the material bodies of living nature, their sex and food, food chains. We draw attention to the fact that, depending on the scale of the organism, it may perceive manifestations of Si in larger bodies as a threat; that is, it tends to translate what it personally regards as Si into the language of Se, whereas in relation to smaller organisms, precisely the opposite applies. We suppose that this is partly also a consequence of the fact that the feeding strategy of Si consists in feeding on small organisms, which are perceived by the consumer as background, whereas the feeding strategy of Se consists in struggling with organisms of a size comparable to its own.

{Strategy-Tactics} * {Merry-Serious} * {Positivism-Negativism}

We present a selection in which the meanings of three Reinin traits, usually considered secondary, are linked together - Merry-Serious, Strategy-Tactics, and Positivism-Negativism.

It would seem that one of these traits indicates the valuing of rational functions, another indicates the inertness of irrational functions, and the third indicates the inertness of questim-declatim functions, which hardly anyone recognizes at all (!).

Given such an arrangement, how can they be connected with one another at all? Nevertheless, let us show how this can be done.

Merry strategic negativism: vk.com/public189370212?w=wa…
Serious tactical negativism: vk.com/public189370212?w=wa…
Merry tactical positivism: vk.com/public189370212?w=wa…
Serious strategic positivism: vk.com/public189370212?w=wa…

CONCLUSIONS:

Merry strategists set distant, fundamentally unattainable goals for themselves and therefore suffer; serious strategists confine themselves to proximate, concrete goals, the achievement of which brings satisfaction.

Serious tacticians work with particular details that arise most often in the process of wear and degradation of an initially universal state; merry tacticians work with details that saturate the world with universally perfect forms. Hence the persistent dissatisfaction and negativism of the former and the positivism of the latter.

DERIVATION OF TRAIT CONTENT FROM THE DEFINITIONS OF SMALL GROUPS:

ideal decorations -> attracting universal attention through perfect structures and proportions -> merriness

imprinted templates -> particular features associated with the optimal working schemes being used -> seriousness

an ideal bearing the imprints of time -> the bitterness of lost perfection -> negativism

decoration according to a template -> joy in the improvement being created -> positivism

the template-ideal -> simplicity, concision -> strategy

that which is adorned with the imprints of time -> complexity, ornateness as a consequence of the superimposition of multiple influences -> tactics
