TestMyBrain Verbal Paired Associates

Determine your verbal memory

Episodic memory is memory for specific events and associations, such as a name that goes with a face. Paired-associate learning, adapted here from the Wechsler Memory Scale, is a standard way to measure it.

In this TestMyBrain test, you see a series of word pairs, and after a short pause you see one word of each pair and choose the word it was paired with. Put simply, it measures how well you learn and remember new associations.

On the following pages, you can determine your verbal memory by completing a short task. It has to be completed in one sitting.

The results will be provided immediately after you have completed the final trial. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you work attentively and without help.

This test is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.
