# TestMyBrain cognitive tests

The folders in this directory are unmodified copies of the `src` folders of the TestMyBrain cognitive
tests, taken from the official repository https://github.com/manybrainsproject/TestMyBrainCodeRepo
(commit `ec09ea0d35779bb39997131313dfd1380ee34922`, 22 May 2026).

- Test code and the TestMyBrain.js library: GNU LGPL v3 (`LICENSE`, `COPYING.LESSER`).
- Stimuli: CC BY-SA 4.0 unless the task overview in the source repository states otherwise
  (e.g. “TMB GradCPT City/Mountain Images” by Esterman & DeGutis, CC BY-SA 4.0).

The site runs each test in a frame and receives its trial data and summary outcomes through the tests'
own `tmbSubmitToFile` / `tmbSubmitToServer` functions, which the host page replaces at run time; the
files themselves are not changed. The build excludes this directory from minification.

The TestMyBrain cognitive tests adopted here were developed for web administration by the Many Brains
Project in collaboration with the Laboratory for Brain and Cognitive Health Technology at McLean
Hospital.
