Sadomasochism Checklist

Determine your sadomasochistic interests

Sadomasochism — sexual pleasure from giving or receiving pain, restraint, or domination — is more common than often assumed, and many people enjoy some of its milder forms.

The Sadomasochism Checklist asks about your experience with 48 activities and how much pleasure each gives, or would give, you. It yields two scores: pleasure in the submissive role and in the dominant role. Put simply, it shows how much each side of these activities appeals to you.

On the following pages, you can determine your sadomasochistic interests by responding to 48 activities. This will take about 10–15 minutes, and you can pause and resume at any time.

The results will be provided immediately after you have responded to all activities on the final page. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you respond seriously and honestly.

This questionnaire is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.

Content notice. This questionnaire asks about sexual fantasies, interests, and behaviour. It is intended for adults and is not a clinical assessment.
