SDEF2 Erotic Fantasy Use Scale

Determine your use of erotic fantasies

Erotic fantasies are a common part of human sexuality: most adults have them, but people differ widely in how often they have them, in which situations, and how they feel about them.

The SDEF2 Erotic Fantasy Use Scale measures five aspects of this: how often you have fantasies, how normal and how important you consider them, the negative emotions they may bring, and whether you share or act them out. Put simply, it shows the role erotic fantasies play in your life.

On the following pages, you can determine your use of erotic fantasies by responding to 21 questions. This will take about 5–5 minutes, and you can pause and resume at any time.

The results will be provided immediately after you have responded to all questions on the final page. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you respond seriously and honestly.

This questionnaire is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.

Content notice. This questionnaire asks about sexual fantasies, interests, and behaviour. It is intended for adults and is not a clinical assessment.
