Oregon Vocational Interest Scales

Determine your vocational interests

Vocational interests describe the kinds of work people enjoy. They predict which careers people choose and how satisfied they are in them, and they are usually described with a small number of broad interest areas.

The Oregon Vocational Interest Scales measure eight: Leadership, Organization, Altruism, Creativity, Analysis, Production, Adventure, and Erudition. Put simply, they show which kinds of work appeal to you most.

On the following pages, you can determine your vocational interests by responding to 92 activities. This will take about 10–10 minutes, and you can pause and resume at any time.

The results will be provided immediately after you have responded to all activities on the final page. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you respond seriously and honestly.

This questionnaire is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.
