IPIP Interpersonal Circumplex

Determine your interpersonal style

The interpersonal circumplex arranges social behaviour around two axes: dominance, from assured to submissive, and warmth, from warm to cold. Every interpersonal style can be placed as a point on the circle they span.

This IPIP version measures the eight segments of the circle, from Assured-Dominant and Gregarious-Extraverted to Aloof-Introverted and Unassuming-Ingenuous. Put simply, it shows how you tend to come across to other people: how much you take charge, and how much warmth you show.

On the following pages, you can determine your interpersonal style by responding to 32 statements. This will take about 5–5 minutes, and you can pause and resume at any time.

The results will be provided immediately after you have responded to all statements on the final page. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you respond seriously and honestly.

This questionnaire is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.
