HiTOP Self-Report

Determine your mental health profile

The Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTOP) is an alternative to traditional diagnostic categories. Instead of sorting people into disorders, it describes mental health problems as dimensions that everyone has to some degree, organised from narrow symptoms up to broad spectra such as internalizing, externalizing, and detachment.

The HiTOP Self-Report measures 76 of these dimensions and 17 subdimensions with 405 statements. Put simply, it shows which kinds of difficulties you experience more or less than others.

On the following pages, you can determine your mental health profile by responding to 405 statements. This will take about 35–55 minutes, and you can pause and resume at any time.

The results will be provided immediately after you have responded to all statements on the final page. Please note that the results you receive can only be reliable to the extent that you respond seriously and honestly.

This questionnaire is part of the validation study for the Quantitative Socionics Inventory. In case of any question, please write an e-mail (contact@quantitativesocionics.org) to the research team.

Content notice. This questionnaire asks about mental health symptoms. It is intended for adults and is not a clinical assessment.
